             The Jarrard Law Group is a small, nationally-oriented law firm which specializes in construction law, commercial real estate transactions and hotel management law, and primarily represents corporate clients of varying sizes in the lodging and hospitality industries. Over the past twelve years, the firm has developed a solid client base through its emphasis on problem solving and effective client communication. The firm’s goal is to produce top quality legal services on a par with that typically available from large firms, yet provide the responsiveness, efficiency and cost effectiveness unique to small firms.
 

             In the area of construction law, the firm has developed and manages a library of design and construction contracts for use nationwide by Hilton Hotels Corporation in connection with the development and renovation of Hilton’s entire inventory of hotels. The firm has recently been retained by Kyo-ya Hotels and Resorts, L.P. to assist in contracting for design and construction services related to Master Plan improvements and renovations of the company's five Starwood managed hotels in Hawaii. The firm also represents a variety of other firms in connection with design and construction contracts including SCS Advisors, Inc. and Baker Project Consulting.

             In the area of commercial real estate transactions, the firm has extensive experience in the acquisition, development and construction of hotel properties on a national basis. Included among the firm’s clients in these areas are Hilton Hotels Corporation, Brickman Associates and Thomas Point Ventures, the hotel development and operation entity controlled by the Marriott family.

             In the area of hotel management law, the firm represents owners on a regular basis in the negotiation of hotel management contracts, technical services agreements, pre-opening services agreements and related contracts. The firm’s clients in these areas again include Brickman Associates and Thomas Point Ventures.
